Microsoft Silverlight 1.0 launched in India
Software giant Microsoft has announced the launch of their Silverlight 1.0 technology product in the Indian market.
This software technology is part of their strategy to deliver great user experiences across the web, PC and mobile devices.
Experts put this technology in direct competition to Adobe Flash which has been delivering interactive media on the web since years now.
Microsoft said in a statement that using Silverlight, businesses in the country can offer web applications that are far richer and more interactive than ever before.
Microsoft is already providing integrated solutions for popular web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
