Apple ships a patch for 20-inch and 24-inch iMac models
Apple Inc. has released a software patch for their iMacs which is supposed to fix a problem with the computer freezing.
The company said in an advisory that the patch is designed for their 20-inch and 24-inch iMac models with 2.0, 2.4, or 2.8GHz processors.
They have released patches for both Leopard and Tiger editions of the Mac OS X.
This patch release comes after the company admitted last month that a software update it issued caused the computers to freeze.
The patches can be downloaded from the company website or through Mac OS X’s internal update system.
