Odessa, Ukraine – October 30, 2007 – CS Odessa today announces the release of ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5.2, a new version of its mind mapping business productivity software. The update adds Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatibility, Quick Look technology support, integration with iCal and renewed user interface that supports Leopard’s rich visual look-and-feel.
ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 is an easy-to-use tool that supports mind mapping and brainstorming techniques as well as many other personal productivity methodologies. It provides businesses and individuals with an engaging and creative way to increase efficiency and productivity when organizing ideas and projects, or when communicating with a group of people.
Support of Quick Look technology has been added to ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5.2 giving you an opportunity to preview maps in Finder without opening them in the application. This can be very useful especially when navigating through files using the new Finder Cover Flow feature, a visual navigation interface first seen in iTunes.
Because of the importance of iCal for both business and personal task planning, ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5.2 introduces the ability to export dates and events to iCal. Information concerning tasks and events in a mind map can be quickly and easily transferred into iCal. Export to iCal is available for Leopard users only.
Mac OS X 10.5 look-and-feel standards are replicated in ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5.2 with the addition of a new handy Clipart Library, map previews reflected in Page Navigator and a floating toolbar containing all of the ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 drawing tools. Usability enhancements in the newest version include an automatic topic placement mode user can easily switch from the existing freehand topic placement mode.
More information about the ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 can be found at the ConceptDraw website.
The update to ConceptDraw MIDNMAP 5.2 is free for all registered users of ConceptDraw MIDNMAP 5.x. ConceptDraw MINDMAP 5 is available at the price of $199 USD for the Professional edition and of $119 USD for Personal edition.
