FileMaker products not ready for Mac OS X Leopard yet
Apple owned software company FileMaker has said that its products are not yet compatible with the just released Mac OS X Leopard operating system.
A note on the company’s website stated: “We are currently working on Leopard compatibility updates for FileMaker Pro 9, FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced, FileMaker Server 9 and FileMaker Server 9 Advanced. At this time FileMaker does not recommend the use of FileMaker 9 products on computers running Mac OS X Leopard.”
It is not clear on how soon they would be able to release Leopard compatible versions in the retail market.
The company had released the most recent version of FileMaker 9 in July this year.
This is pretty surprising considering a lot of other Apple software maker have already started releasing Leopard compatible updates.
