RIM Blackberry comes to Facebook

RIM has announced the release of their own application for the popular social networking service Facebook.

This new application on the Facebook platform is designed for their Blackberry range of smartphones.

This application is available as a free download and it provides streamlined, mobile access to Facebook.

It was showcased to the media personals jointly by RIM founder Mike Lazaridis and Facebook co founder Dustin Moskovitz.

BlackBerry owners using this application on Facebook would be able to send and receive notifications and other kind of messages.
