Apple Mac OS X Leopard comes today
Apple is scheduled to launch their Leopard operating system today. This much awaited release of Leopard comes after the delay earlier this year as Apple was working hard on the iPhone launch.
This launch is coming just days after Apple came out with their latest revenue report which has shown them performing brilliantly.
Leopard also happens to be the fifth major upgrade to the Mac OS X release since the first version launch in 2001.
Market analyst Michael Gartenberg had this to say on the importance of Leopard OS: “Apple has an unfair advantage because it knows exactly what hardware their system is going to run on. They have leveraged that advantage to make themselves look more competent than Microsoft.”
Apple is claiming that the new edition of Mac OS X comes loaded with 300 new exciting features which makes it a must have upgrade for existing users. All Macs from now on would ship with Leopard OS.
