GIMP 2.4.0 released

GIMP

The developers behind the GIMP project have announced the launch of GIMP 2.4.0 release.

A release candidate version of this edition was shipped with the recently released Ubuntu 7.10 distro.

The developers said in the news release:

Developers, artists and user interface designers from all over the world worked together to make GIMP more powerful and easier to use than ever.

They have also revamped the official website of the project to celebrate the release of this new edition.
