Symantec rumored to be acquiring Vontu
Market sources say that Symantec is close to announcing their plans to acquire Vontu.
Vontu specializes in providing data leakage prevention software which is used by corporates in controlling the flow of information.
If this report is true, Symantec would gain more products to enhance their software security applications.
Incidentally, the two companies have been working together through an OEM business partnership.
Reports claims that they could end up paying around $300-$350 million for Vontu.
