Adobe admits Acrobat and Acrobat Reader has security issues
Software giant Adobe has said in a statement that their Acrobat and Acrobat Reader applications contain security flaws which are yet to be fixed.
Adobe said in its notice that they ended up shipping these products with flaws which could enable hackers to get access to the user’s machine.
Hackers can then be able to use the machines as for performing illegal activities like sending spam mails.
The flaw incidentally affect only Windows XP operating system and Internet Explorer 7 as per the company statement. They are likely to be ready with patches by the end of the month.
Market experts say that this is not going to be of much help as hackers would have enough time to exploit this flaw.
