Patch Tuesday: Microsoft releases six security updates
October’s Patch Tuesday saw Microsoft releasing as many as six security updates for their products.
The company has issued patches to fix bugs in Word, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer.
It also updates the Kodak image viewer that is shipped with some variants of the Windows operating system.
The fixes are developed to fix as many as nine bugs in Microsoft’s products. It also includes patches for Windows SharePoint collaboration software. Another fix updates Windows remote procedure call (RPC) technology.
