Skype for Linux 1.4 production release

The developers behind the Skype project have released a new production release of Skype for Linux 1.4 .

They have codenamed this version Panacea.

The company claims that this updated release offer superior voice call quality compared to previous versions.

They are now recommending all Linux users of Skype to upgrade to this latest version.

As per the company blog, the changelog of this new release is as under:
