Google disappointing Urchin customers
Google acquired Urchin Software some two years ago. The company was scheduled to release an updated version for the paying customers and they are being disappointed with the work done on this front.
Google continues to spend more time on enhancing the free version of the service which works as a software-as-a-service (SAAS) product.
This means that the customers of the packaged server software are disappointed with Google’s work on Urchin technology.
The version 6 of the application was originally scheduled for launch in late 2004 still hasn’t been released. Google has no time line on its launch even now.
Brett Crosby, Google Analytics senior manager just had this to say on Urchin: “We are constantly looking at ways to improve our products and functionality, but we have nothing further to announce at this time.”
