Novell OpenSUSE 10.3 released
Linux company Novell has announced that OpenSUSE Project has now released the latest updated version of OpenSUSE operating system. The latest version is now OpenSUSE 10.3.
OpenSUSE project director Andreas Jaeger spoke about this release: “The OpenSUSE community continues to deliver innovations and has created a new version of OpenSUSE that will excite a wide range of computer users. It contains a large variety of the latest open-source applications for desktops, servers, and application development.”
This updated release comes with the latest OpenOffice.org office productivity suite which features support for MS Office 2007 file formats.
It also features an updated edition of AppArmor which protects the machine from viruses. Of course, it also supports dual boot with Windows OS as most other Linux distros.
This release also comes with the preview version of the upcoming KDE 4. The final version is expected to ship with OpenSUSE 11.0
