Microsoft all set to launch Office Communications Server 2007
Software giant Microsoft is all set to launch their Office Communications Server 2007 edition sometime this month.
The launch event is currently scheduled for Oct. 16 and the company is also likely to announced several new devices which would work with this new technology.
Microsoft would also be launching Office Communicator 2007 client and Office Live Meeting at this event.
With this Microsoft would come in direct competition with Cisco as they would enter the market of suppliers providing platforms that put all forms of enterprise communication in one place.
Microsoft had made available a beta of the OCS 2007 in March this year and it has been a popular download from the company’s website.
