Nokia launches Mail for Exchange 2.0
World’s largest mobile phone maker Nokia has announced the launch of Mail for Exchange 2.0.
This application is basically an email client targeted at their business customers. It enables them to connect to Microsoft’s Exchange mail server.
The company added that the application is available immediately. The updated version improves the user experience and support more features of the Exchange mail server.
The application make use of the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol.
It has been made available for several Nokia mobile devices including Nokia E50, E60, E61, E61i, E65, E70, and E90 Communicator. Some N-Series phones are also capable of using it.
Jeff Ressler, director for Microsoft Exchange added about this release from Nokia: “With the release of Mail for Exchange 2.0, owners of Nokia E series and Nokia N series phones can stay productive on the go with these new Exchange mobility features, including remote corporate address books, the ability to accept and reject meeting invitations and other improvements.”
