Office for Mac 2008 details released
Microsoft has now released details on their delayed but much awaited Office for Mac 2008 productivity suite.
The company stated in a release that the office suite would be released in the US on January 15, 2008.
It would be made available globally within the first quarter of the next year.
They would be selling three variants of this suite:
Office 2008 for Mac ($399.95; $239.95 upgrade)
Office 2008 for Mac Home and Student Edition ($149.95)
Office 2008 for Mac Special Media Edition ($499.95; $299.95 upgrade).
All of these editions would feature the new file formats implemented by the company in the MS Office 2007 for Windows.
They would be released in universal binary formats which would work on both PowerPC and Intel powered Macs.
