ZoneAlarm ForceField beta launched

Check Point has announced the launch of a beta version of their upcoming application named ZoneAlarm ForceField software.

This software has been developed to protect users from browser-based exploits like phishing and keylogger applications.

The company said that this software product would protect the browser and all actions that occur within it. This means that existing malware on the computer would not be detected by it.

It technically works by creating a virtual browser environment which is totally separated from the computer’s content. Because of this websites would have no access to the files on the hard disk.

It would work with both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers. They expect to launch the final version in early 2008 for $29.95.
