Lotus Notes 8 and Lotus Domino 8 launched in India
US based tech giant IBM has announced that they have now launched Lotus Notes 8 and Lotus Domino 8 in the Indian market.
The company had worked on these updated editions for two years and they have been tested by around 25,000 businesses around the world.
IBM said in a statement that Lotus Notes 8 and IBM Lotus Domino 8 represent the “industry’s first enterprise collaboration solution”.
The company further said: “Consequently, Lotus Notes 8 is designed to transform the inbox into an integrated workspace that brings together email, calendar, instant messaging, office productivity tools and custom applications.”
IBM added that their Lotus Notes 8 is much more than e-mail. It goes much further with instant messaging and presence awareness. It also comes loaded with office tools to create and edit documents, presentations and spreadsheets and infusing a business’ custom applications, including help desk, CRM, sales force, discussion forums and blogs.
