Apple does not hate third party iPhone app developers
Apple iPhone launch has generated a lot of hype and several third party developers are coding applications for it.
Apple did not design the iPhone for such applications but the company has now said that they are not exactly against the developers who are coding native applications for the iPhone.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of iPod marketing said in a statement that the company is at the moment adopted a neutral position.
They are not planning to deter development, or halt it with new firmware updates. But they are not going to support them or provide any assistance.
However, he warned that such a situation can change in the future as the company reevaluates their position.
He added that unlike the Mac, iPhone has not been designed for third party applications which can mess up the end user experience with the Apple iPhone.
