Microsoft Systems Center Virtual Machine Manager 2007 introduced
Microsoft has to learn to have less complicated names for their applications! The company has just launched their latest product and it is named Microsoft Systems Center Virtual Machine Manager 2007.
This software is Microsoft’s attempt to challenge the domination of VMware in the “Virtualization” technology market.
The Virtualization technology enables a user to run multiple operating systems without rebooting the machine.
Microsoft said in its statement that this new product would enable companies to deploy virtualization technology, centralize management and convert machines running VMware to a Microsoft format.
Market analysts believe that the software giant has finally realized the importance of this segment of the IT market and they are well prepared to take on VMware.
