Google Reader readers can now search!

Search engine giant Google has finally added the much demanded searching capabilities to their Google Reader web application.

Google Reader is loved by a lot of web users who prefer to use it as their RSS feed reader but the missing search box was too big of a nuisance.

The missing search box was even more of a shock considering Google’s core business strength is searching!

The company has finally taken the steps to rectify this mistake and the searching option is now available for Google Reader fans.

Google has also enhanced the service and user can now hide the side navigation by clicking on a button. This option was previously available through a keyboard shortcut.

Google has also increased the unread count to 1000. This enhancement is also going to help a lot of their users.
