Apple iTunes 7.4 is out

Apple has released the iTunes 7.4 update to support the just launched iPod Touch digital media player.

The company has added features like creation of custom ringtones for their iPhone mobile phone.

This updated iTunes also enables the user to play purchased videos with closed captioning when it is available.

They would also be able to rate their favorite albums and watch videos inside the iTunes in larger sizes.

Apple added that they have also fixed a security bug in this release related to maliciously crafted music files which could have caused the application to quit or run arbitrary code.

Apple iTunes 7.4 is available as a download from the company’s website. Users can also update their installations using the Apple Update application.
