Red Hat Command Center now available online
Linux company Red Hat has now launched an online version of Command Center. This is the company’s integrated server and application monitoring service.
Red Hat said that the service is now offering new features and a free evaluation version.
Red Hat Command Center is essentially a form of Software as a Service (SaaS) and offer their customers the ability to monitor performance of IT infrastructures around the clock.
Customers are only required to pay for the services they are using and this turns out to be cheaper alternative for them.
The company stated that the new features on this service include:
* Improved access to your monitoring data
* Increased licensing flexibility, by server or by probe
* Better administrative control over scout configurations
* Refreshed user interface and login capabilities
Red Hat further said that customers would now be able to download bulk monitoring data in the open XML standard for reporting and archival purposes.
