Parallels Desktop for Mac beta updated
Parallels has released a new beta of their Virtualization application Parallels Desktop for Mac. The software enables the owners of Intel powered Apple Macs to run Microsoft’s Windows operating system without any reboot requirement.
The second beta release of Parallels Desktop for Mac is available to the users of their version 3 of the application.
The company said that this beta comes with improved support for Coherence. Coherence technology enables the application to seamlessly work with the Mac OS X’s dock feature.
Now, the users can minimize any Windows OS application to their dock in the Mac OS. This is similar to how Mac applications behave.
Parallels added that they have also improved Coherence support for Expose and transparent windows. The latest beta also supports more than 4GB of RAM for multiple virtual machines.
