TubeStop Firefox add-on can be used to avoid seeing ads on YouTube

YouTube has just announced that they would be inserting ads in the videos hosted on their web based service.

They are trying their level best to make the ads not intrusive and the content publisher has been given enough power to control the ads featured on their media.

However, people still do not like the concept of seeing ads on the media present on the popular video sharing website.

TubeStop comes to your rescue here. This add-on for the Mozilla Firefox browser was designed to prevent the videos from starting automatically on loading.

A side effect of this feature is that TubeStop replaces the YouTube’s native player with the embeddable version.

The ad on the videos is presented through the YouTube’s player and the user end up seeing no ad!
