Zoho office suite can now be used offline
Zoho developers have said in a statement that they are now adding capabilities to their office productivity suite to enable the users to edit and store Zoho-created documents locally.
The company said that this feature would first appear on their Zoho Writer word-processing application.
It would be further expanded to the other applications in the Zoho suite in the coming months.
Storing and editing documents offline has been one of the major issues with the office suites which are available online.
The company added that they are also adding a “comments” feature to enable users to add notes to their Zoho-created documents.
They are using the Google Gears technology to add this offline capabilities to the suite.
