Intuit to continue to develop Quicken on Mac Platform
Software company Intuit has stated that they are going to keep developing their Mac version of Quicken.
This comes after market report stated that the company is no longer going to support the Mac users of their software.
The company had just recently announced a new version of Quicken for Windows. Intuit has now stated that Quicken for the Mac is alive and well for the 2008 season.
The launch is somewhat delayed due to the Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard’s” forthcoming release. Apple had to delay the launch of the Leopard operating system as they were concentrating on the release of Apple iPhone.
The company further said that they are also working on an online version of Quicken. This would be targeted at users who have never worked on financial management software before.
