Linux Weather Forecast launched
The Linux Foundation has now launched the Linux Weather Forecast website. This site has been designed to give people a chance to see the status of specific Linux kernel projects.
They have launched this new project in collaboration with Jonathan Corbet who is a major Linux kernel developer and writer.
Corbet is also the executive editor of the LWN.net Linux and free software news site.
Jim Zemlin, executive director at the Linux Foundation said in a statement that the website would help improve the open-source development model of the Linux project.
The Linux Weather Project would provide a central repository of accurate information presented in an easily understandable format.
