MS Office 2008 for Mac delayed
Sad news for the Apple Mac users as Microsoft has reportedly delayed the launch of their upcoming MS Office 2008 for the Mac platform.
The company launched the PC version (MS Office 2007) earlier this year.
Sources say that the company is now delaying the launch to get more time to fix the bugs in the software.
Craig Eisler, general manager of the Macintosh business unit of Microsoft was quoted as saying that the suite has been delayed so as to provide users the quality they deserve.
The new Office for Mac would be made to work on both Intel and PowerPC based Mac computers. It would also be supporting the new file formats introduced in the Office 2007 for PC.
