Dell acquiring ASAP Software to boost their software offerings
World’s second largest personal computer maker Dell has announced that they are now acquiring ASAP Software.
This acquisition would help the company expand their software tools to meet the demands of large customers.
Dell would be paying around $340 million for this deal. ASAP Software specializes in selling products for managing software licensing, purchasing, renewals, and compliance.
The company has around 600 people, with sales offices in North America and Europe.
Dell added in a statement that they expect this acquisition to be complete by the third quarter of the year but they would be required to take regulatory approvals.
