Mozilla releases Firefox 2.0.0.6

Mozilla has now released the latest update to their open source web browser product Firefox. The latest version is now Firefox 2.0.0.6.

The developers said that this update patches their side of the flaw related to the Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser.

This latest update also fixes a privilege escalation vulnerability in the existing versions of Firefox.

Users can download the latest edition from the Mozilla website. It would be automatically delivered in the coming days to users who have turned on auto update in the browser.
