Microsoft updates Office 2004 for Mac to version 11.3.6

Software giant Microsoft has released an update for their MS Office 2004 application for the Apple Mac platform.

This latest update means that the Office for Mac has now reached version 11.3.6.

The patch is available from the company’s website and can also be downloaded through the Office’s updater software.

The patch file is 15.4MB big and is applicable on the Office 2004 Standard, Student, Teacher and Professional Editions.

Microsoft stated that the patch has been issued to fix a bug in the application which can be used by hackers to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.

The company added that the patch also fixes a problem with using public folders in Entourage. This latest update also includes the latest Japanese postal code information.
