Apple warns about a possible iPhone-To-Outlook Sync issue
Apple has warned that some of the owners of their just released iPhone mobile phone device would face issues with synchronization with their Microsoft Outlook files on PCs.
The company said that the contacts created with iPhone’s “Custom” labeled phone numbers feature will show up in Outlook’s “Other” files.
This is largely because of software compatibility issues. The company added that Outlook limits the number of URLs that can be linked with particular individual on the contact list.
This means that some of the URLs would not get synchronized properly between the two devices.
Apple product users are quite used to facing issues with Microsoft developed software products. Windows Vista users faced a lot of problems with their Apple iPods during the initial days.

I can tell you that iTunes silently deleted ALL of my contacts from my iPhone the last time I synced. I have not been able to get them back, not even from the new iTunes update and a complete restore. Meanwhile I’ve been forced to use my old phone as a telephone book. Thanks iTunes.
