Apple QuickTime 7.2 released with iPhone export support

Apple has released the latest version of their QuickTime application. The latest version is 7.2.

This latest release comes with several security fixes along with support to export files for the recently launched Apple iPhone device.

The latest version is now capable of exporting videos into two formats for the iPhone. Export for iPhone produces a .m4v video while Export for iPhone (Cellular) exports in the smaller .3gp format.

Apple added that the latest edition also adds support for full screen viewing in QuickTime Player. It also comes with an updated H.264 codec.

Users can get this latest version from the Apple QuickTime website or they can update their existing installations using the update software provided by the company.
