Norton Antivirus 2008 and Internet Security 2008 beta editions available for download
Symantec has now made available the beta versions of their upcoming security software applications.
The company has made available beta editions of Norton Antivirus 2008 and Internet Security 2008.
The beta versions are free to download and they would run for 30 days before expiring.
Symantec said that both these applications now come with their SONAR technology which has been designed to add proactive malware detection.
This technology is already shipping with their Norton 360 security application.
Symantec added that NAV would now display a map of the user’s home network while the NIS would be able to check the wireless network security and offer network setup advice.
Norton Internet Security 2008 is also loaded with Symantec’s Identity Safe technology.
