Google Gadgets now supported in JBoss Portal 2.6
JBoss has announced an upgrade to their open-source portal software which now integrates the popular Google Gadgets.
The integration means that the users of their JBoss Portal 2.6 would be able to drop Google Gadget components onto a portal.
The company said that this updated release also adds improvements in personalization, identity management, and work flow.
JBoss further said that the portal would serve as the foundation of the JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform.
Ram Venkataraman, JBoss’s director of product management added that the new features in this release would further allow users to personalize individual portlets, including themes, layouts, and content, to suit specific roles.
