Microsoft launches Windows Live Folders and Windows Live Photo Gallery
Software giant Microsoft has announced the launch of two new Windows Live services. These are: Windows Live Folders and Windows Live Photo Gallery.
The company added that they are working on plans to release more Web offerings this year to expand their range of services to take on Google and their Google Apps service.
Microsoft already provides a range of services under the Live brand including e-mail and Web search. And now they have added a web storage and photo gallery tools to the service.
Chris Jones, Microsoft’s corporate vice president added: “Soon we’ll begin to offer a single installer which will give customers the option of an all-in-one download for the full Windows Live suite of services instead of the separate installation experience you see today.”
Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery: This new service is essentially an updated edition of the photo application found on Windows XP and Vista operating systems. It would help users to share their photos more easily through their Live Spaces account.
Microsoft Windows Live Folders: The company is providing up to 500 megabytes of online storage in the United States to a limited number of beta testers. This service has been designed to let the users to store and share documents.
