Opera Software working on Opera 9.5 Kestrel release
Web browser makers Opera has revealed in a blog post that progress on their upcoming Opera 9.5 Kestrel is going on at a rapid pace.
Opera is one of the few browsers which are available on a variety of platforms including Windows, Macs, Linux and even on several mobile platforms.
The developers have revealed that the upcoming Opera 9.5 would come with several new features including improved user interface, better accessibility features, enhanced platform integration and of course performance improvements.
Opera 9.5 would for the time feature screen reader support. Opera would add a QT4 build for Linux users (we are waiting for this one!). They are also going to release 64-bit Linux/FreeBSD packages.
The developers are also claiming that the new version would be much faster… both on benchmark testing and in real world usage.
Something to look forward too!
