Google acquires Zenter

Search engine giant Google has announced that they are acquiring the maker of an online presentation tool maker Zenter.

Market sources claim that the developers of this tool took just a couple of months to come up with this application.

The developers have also patented the several technologies used in developing the application. The company is now being acquired by Sam Schillace’s application division at Google.

The service comes loaded with tons of features including a large library of Web-based fonts as well as vector art.

They are also working on ways to enable collaboration by letting users share artwork and the presentations themselves.

The company founders Wayne Crosby and Robby Walker are both doctorates in computer science and have worked on projects for GoDaddy and others.

Let us hope that Google manages to make the best use of their skills to come up with better online tools to provide a free alternative to office productivity suites.
