Mozilla Firefox for Mac to get OS X native Controls

Mozilla developers are now going to add OS X native controls to their popular open source web browser product Mozilla Firefox.

This was in demand since a long time from the Mac users who hated the different look of various elements inside the browser on the Mac OS X platform.

Mozilla developer Josh Aas has already released a preview built with these updated controls. It is for now only for the Intel powered Mac computers but they plan to launch a PowerPC version too in the future.

Mozilla has said that the users are sure to see this update when Firefox is released as version 3.0. Firefox 3 is going to be released as a Universal Binary.

This updated feature of the Firefox browser is likely to make it even more popular amongst the Mac users. Currently they have alternative options in the form of Camino and Safari.
