Google Analysts updated to expand data reporting capabilities

Search engine giant Google has now updated their Analytics service to feature expanded reporting capabilities. The company aims to provide an improved experience to the users of the service as these kinds of tools are increasingly becoming more important to companies aiming to check how visitors respond to their websites.

The information generated by these tools can help the web developers improve their websites so that they appeal more to their visitors.

Google entered this market when they acquired Urchin two years back. They launched a free service a little while after that enabling anyone with a Google account to get access to their Analytic service.

Brett Crosby, Google Analytics senior manager said in a statement that this new updated service has been designed to make the product more intuitive to use and its data clearer and easier to digest.

The company has also added “plain language” descriptions of the data to make it more understandable to the novice users of the Google Analytics service.

The updated interface is now being delivered to the end users and the company hopes to make it available to everyone using the service in the coming days. We checked out Google Analytics backend and our backend still shows the previous generation interface.
