Microsoft Live Hotmail to get out of beta next week
Software giant Microsoft is scheduled to launch their revamped Live Hotmail services this coming Monday. They have been working on this improved service since quite some time and a lot of Hotmail users are already using the beta versions of the technology.
Market sources say that the company has already begin rolling out this new service in their smaller markets and the Monday launch would see them making the new interface available to an 250 million Hotmail subscribers around the world.
The company announced their plans to start working on this new version around two years ago after new competition emerged in the form of Google Gmail. Another rival company Yahoo! is also currently beta testing a brand new interface for their webmail service.
Microsoft Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie has said that their new services is aimed at making their existing and new hosted online services more attractive to users and advertisers.
