Roxio releases preview edition of Roxio Crunch for Apple products
Roxio has previewed their upcoming software application named Roxio Crunch. This application has been designed to let the users convert their videos to formats supported by Apple TV, iPod, and the iPhone.
The company says that the utility would make it users to convert personal video content and transfer it to Apple TV so that they can watch them on their television sets.
Roxio Crunch makes use of the Toast video conversion technology and features the same user interface. Conversion is easy and takes three steps namely drag, drop, and convert.
The application supports a variety of software formats including QuickTime video files along with DivX and MPEG-2 files.
The company said that the tool also supports unprotected DVDs and VIDEO_TS folders. Roxio Crunch is also capable of converting both 4:3 and 16:9 video into multiple MPEG-4 and H.264 quality settings.
Once the videos are converted, the tool automatically adds them to “Crunch” playlist within iTunes. This can be synced with the Apple TV device to watch the videos on the television set.
They are going to sell Roxio Crunch for USD 50 though they might offer promotional prices in the beginning.
