Meetro 1.0 is out now
The developers of the Meetro instant messaging software have launched the version 1 of their popular software application Meetro.
The software has been under development for more than a year now and is being used by thousands of users worldwide.
The Metro 1.0 release comes loaded with several new features including:
• Notifications - Now when somebody sends you new comments or MeetroNotes, you’ll get a friendly little bubble to notify you.
• Multi-IM - Now you can quickly switch to your multi-im buddies by clicking on the network icon at the bottom and selecting ‘See These Buddies’
• Quick view of a person’s links - by right clicking on their avatar and clicking the ‘Links’ menu item
• Send a profile link to your friends - Say you have a chat window open with QueenJean, and you’re checking out Peter’s profile and see something funny. Simply right click on Peter’s avatar and select ‘Send Profile Link To -> QueenJean”.
• Leave a comment simply by right clicking on their picture on your near/friend list.
• New menu items and sidebar icons for quick access to all the links available in the dashboard
• And obviously, a Stable 1.0 core which now runs on machines that were having problems starting Meetro
Meetro 1.0 is available as a free download for Windows and Mac platform.
