Microsoft now accepting beta testers for Vista update
Software giant Microsoft launched their latest Windows Vista OS earlier this year. And the company has already started accepting beta testing applications for an upcoming update to Vista which is related to its Media Center functionality.
Jessica Zahn, a program manager on the Media Center team announced the beta testing program on the Microsoft’s Connect site.
Interesting Vista users are required to complete an online survey and the results are expected to be out this May. Zahn added on their plans: “The survey is deliberately broad. It would probably be a mistake to assume everything we’re asking about is going to end up in the next version, whenever that is. :-)”.
The company did not however reveal whether this update will precede or succeed Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) which is also scheduled for release sometime this year.
