Google Toolbar adds a Dice feature for recommendations
Search engine giant Google has added a new add-on feature to their search toolbar product. Users can add this Dice like feature to their toolbar.
Clicking on this dice picks up a site based on the user’s search history and redirects him to this website. Google states that as many as 50 sites can be added for recommendation settings.
This new add-on tool does not come preinstalled and user would have to manually install it. Google also has made available this feature to be added on their personalized home pages section.
Sep Kamvar, the engineering Lead for personalization spoke about this feature on the company blog: “Don’t expect very much at the beginning, but the more you build up your search history, and the more you use these features, the better they’ll become. Over time, we will give you more and better recommendations.”
