Opera for Wii now Final
Nintendo has announced that the owners of the Wii gaming console can now get the final version of the Opera browser which enables them to surf the internet on their television sets.
Opera has released the final version of the browser with a host of updates and improvements.
Opera for Wii is available as a free download to Wii owners till June. After that the gamers would be required to pay 500 points, or $5 to get the final version.
The final edition of the Opera for Wii includes built-in Google and Yahoo! searches. Users can now hide the toolbars. The browser also allows the user to zoom on text which keeps the text visibly crisp.
The browser also supports multiple cursors. Gamers would be able to point things on the web browser (while browsing a page for example) using the extra Wiimote.
Opera has also just released the final version of their Opera 9.2 web browser version for the desktop. It comes loaded with a new feature named Speed Dial making regularly visited pages more accessible.
