Oracle to release 37 security fixes next week

Database software maker Oracle is expected to come out with yet another mega patch release next week. The company would be releasing updates for a number of products including Oracle Database, Application Server, and E-Business Suite.

Oracle release their security fixes quarterly and their upcoming patch release would include 13 patches for the database applications.

The company added that some of the bugs to be fixed by this upcoming patch release could be remotely exploitable over a network, without requiring a username or password on the database.

Oracle’s E-Business suite would get 11 bug fixes and two of these are critical bugs. Oracle is also going to release four patches for its JD Edwards and PeopleSoft products.
