Microsoft updates Zune Firmware
Software giant Microsoft has released the latest firmware for their Zune digital media player. The latest updated version is the firmware update 1.3.
As per online reports, this new firmware is mostly a bug fix issue and does not add any new feature to the Zune.
The company claims that this updated firmware would fix the skipping problem that some users were experiencing with the music played on the Zune device.
Microsoft has also reportedly improved device and software reliability related to Zune detection on the computer along with improvement in syncing.
The updated firmware also makes changes to the FM tuner in the Zune player which stops the drainage of battery when the player is in sleep mode.
One of the major problems with the Zune we have here is the battery life. Let’s hope this new firmware would fix it for us.
