Steinberg launches GarageBand challenger Sequel
Audio software maker Steinberg has released a challenger to the popular Mac application GarageBand from Apple. They call their product Sequel.
Sequel is essentially a low-cost music production application and it was launched at the Musikmesse music trade show in Frankfurt, Germany.
The company claims that the software includes everything needed to create and perform music live. They have included features like loops, sounds, effects, instruments in addition to the essential virtual mixer.
The application would ship with 3.5GB of built-in loops and sounds to help artists create their original media. Steinberg is shipping the application already and it has been priced at a competitive USD 99.
